Inflicting Ink Traveling Tattoo and 401 Motoring will Team up to Host a Blood Drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center

Portsmouth, RI March 19th-20th 2011 --- Inflicting Ink Traveling Tattoo, a one of a kind mobile tattoo studio based out of Portsmouth, RI, will be teaming up with 401 Motoring to host a blood drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center.

Inflicting Ink Traveling Tattoo will be set up at the 401 Motoring parking lot from 10am until all scheduled tattoos are completed. The Rhode Island Blood Center will be on site from 10am-2pm on Saturday, March 19th and 20th collecting blood donations. Inflicting Ink teamed up with the Rhode Island Blood Center last November to help dispel the myth that “you cannot donate blood if you have a tattoo”. The drive proved to be successful for both parties; therefore a two-day blood drive/tattoo event will help kick off the spring season.

Participants can donate blood and either set up a tattoo appointment later in the day (Jeff will decide the amount of time needed in between to ensure safety for all clients) or schedule an appointment at the shop for a later date. Individuals may schedule tattoo appointments with Jeff prior to the event, but all walk-ons are welcome. All donors will receive a free Inflicting Ink T-shirt.

401 Motoring has been serving the Aquidneck Island area for the past 15 years providing experience, personal service and consistency to clients. 401 Motoring is a proud partner of Inflicting Ink’s mobile tattoo studio.

Nov 6, 2010: Rhode Island Blood Center Blood Drive with Cardi's Furniture
Cardi's Furniture, South Kingstown, RI DETAILS

Dear Inflicting Ink Tattoo,

Thank you for sponsoring the Cardi’s Furniture blood drives on November 6th. Your support helped the Rhode Island Blood Center to ensure a safe & adequate blood supply to our hospitals. A total of 42 pints were collected between all 4 locations. Since one pint can save up to three lives, your blood drive potentially benefited up to 126 people in Rhode Island and beyond!

• South County Commons: 15 (5 sign ups to become bone marrow donors)
• Swansea: 6
• South Attleboro: 16
• West Warwick: 5

Also, the Inflicting Ink event at the South County Commons was a huge success. Not only did we have the 2nd highest collection we have ever had at that drive, we really got the message out that you can donate blood if you have a tattoo in the state of Rhode Island. Below is a link to their facebook page which included some pictures of the event.

All blood donations will make a difference in someone’s life. A significant amount of the blood collected at our blood drives will go towards treating children with leukemia, automobile accident victims and patients needing organ transplants. It is because of generous folks like yourself, who host blood drives, that we are able to give hope to patients and their families.

Please extend my thanks to everyone else that helped to make the day a success. It was a pleasure working with you again and I look forward to our next drive. Saturday, February 12th 2011.

Also, I believe Frank and Glenn will be working on a new Providence Journal ad for our 2011 blood drives and will be in touch soon once they have some proofs to show.

Till then, take care.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Siegal

Holiday Tattoo Events

Halloween, or any holiday, is the perfect time to have a tattoo party, and booking the Inflicting Ink Traveling Tattoo Truck, or even taking a group to visit the Inflicting Ink Studio in Portsmouth RI is a great way to get together with friends for an exciting tattoo event.

Whether you are planning a tattoo event for a handful of guests, or a huge celebration, Inflicting Ink has a venue for you. Traveling Tattoo is not a new concept. An original method of touring for Tattoo companies in the past, Inflicting Ink has taken it to an entirely new level with a state of the art tattoo facility that features a sterile environment not found in any tattoo shop anywhere at this time.

The truck is 78.5 feet and needs certain permit and space requirements, as well as a good degree of advance planning ~ but the results are worth it.

Inspire your next event or charity function, and boost revenue by contacting Inflicting Ink and arranging to have the traveling tattoo truck on site for tattooing.

And if you're planning a smaller holiday gathering, consider hosting a tattoo party at the Inflicting Ink Studio. Whether it's a birthday, welcome home, bon voyage, wedding shower, or survival story you want to tell, Inflicting Ink's talented tattoo artists can help you create a unique tattoo to help preserve the memory. Custom tattoos are a specialty.
